Boss
The EP.0 final boss
Checked 2026-10-18
I can tell you what secondary sources call this fight. I cannot give you a phase chart I have not seen.
TVTropes and related summaries name The Host: a large flesh-and-machine column with eyes, on level 6, in a cleaner part of Bio-Fold. The achievement FINAL is finish EP.0 once. MASCOT HORROR is specifically kicking Handy Helper, which is a mascot cutout, not this boss. I have not fought The Host.
What I will not add
No health number, no safe spot, no recommended weapon. If you still have EP.0 installed, you are the person who can test that. New Steam accounts cannot claim EP.0 after 24 September 2026. See EP.0 status.
Questions I keep getting
Is The Host in the full game?
I do not have a developer line that says the same boss returns. I will not assume it.
What is Handy Helper?
A mascot you can kick, tied to MASCOT HORROR, not the final column.
Sources I used
